Stemina Launches Cardiotoxicity Assay, Presents Sponsored Session, Poster at SOT’s Annual Meeting & ToxExpo 2018

The Stemina team will attend the Society of Toxicology’s Annual Meeting and ToxExpo in San Antonio, Texas from March 11-15, 2018. We are excited to share information about our new cardiotoxicity assay, Cardio quickPredictTM, now commercially-available for the first time.

In addition to participating in SOT as an exhibitor (booth 408), Stemina’s work will appear in four sessions:

Monday, 3/12 | 10:45 am – 12:15 pm (author-attended) | Poster session

Development of an In Vitro Assay to Predict Cardiotoxicity Potential Using Targeted Metabolomics and Human-Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Cardiomyocytes
Jessica Palmer, Associate Director of Toxicology, presents | Poster #P179

Tuesday, 3/13, 1:30 PM | Exhibitor-Hosted Session

Cardio quickPredictTM: A New Way to Evaluate the Cardiotoxicity Potential of Compounds
Jessica Palmer presents | Room 217A

Wednesday, 3/14:

These two presentations are part of platform session on Alternative Models for Assessing Developmental Toxicity. Though we aren’t presenting these sessions, Stemina’s assay was used for the research discussed.

  • Valproate Analogue Developmental Toxicity Potency in a Human Pluripotent Stem Cell-Based Assay Is Concordant with In Vivo Potency
Nicole Kleinstreuer (NICEATM) presents | 2:50 PM | CC Room 301
  • Profiling the Toxcast Library with a Pluripotent Human Embryonic Stem Cell Assay
Thomas Knudsen (EPA) presents | 3:10 PM | CC Room 301

CEO Elizabeth Donley will also attend SOT 2018. For more information, please consult the program [PDF] and the meeting’s website.
